What does a typical itinerary look like?

Accepted Answer

Tuesday: check in, ease into the trip and usually start with an informal game followed by a welcome drink at Bela. Wednesday: morning coaching at Club Atletico Montemar, then afternoon social games at Bela Padel Centre. Thursday: another morning coaching session, afternoon padel at Bela and a night out in Alicante. Friday: final coaching session, farewells around 12.15pm, with optional extra play if you have a later flight.

Do flights come with the package?

Accepted Answer

Flights are not included, so you will book those independently. Alicante is well connected from most UK airports and flights are generally very reasonable. Make sure you have adequate travel insurance, and do not book flights until you have received email confirmation from us that your trip is going ahead.

Question 3

How does payment work?

Accepted Answer

If you are booking more than 93 days before the event, you can lock in your spot with a deposit of GBP 150 or EUR 175. The remaining balance is then due closer to the trip date and we will confirm the timeline clearly by email. If you are booking inside 93 days, payment is made in full at the time of booking.

How do I get from the airport to the hotel?

Taxis from Alicante airport are easy to find and reliable. Expect to pay around EUR 35-40 and the journey takes roughly 20 minutes. If several guests land around the same time, we will coordinate a group transfer where we can. Hotel check-in is from 4pm and check-out is by 12pm on departure day.

What happens between coaching sessions?

Between sessions the time is yours. Head back to the hotel for a swim and some downtime, or stay at the club and use the bar and facilities on site. Evenings are unstructured, and Alicante has a brilliant restaurant and bar scene. We will share recommendations and often join the group for a drink or dinner.

Where do we stay?

Everyone stays at Hotel Alicante Golf, a comfortable 4-star hotel right next to Playa San Juan. It has a pool, sun terrace, good food and an easy tram link into the city centre. Pricing is based on two guests sharing a room, and solo travellers can add a single room supplement of GBP 150.

How does the group stay in touch?

Before the trip you will have direct contact details for our team on the ground, so someone will always be available if you need anything. We set up a WhatsApp group for each trip so everyone can connect ahead of time and during the week. It is optional, but most people find it useful.
